- Worship is the awesome opportunity of believers to romance the Lover of our souls. Sadly, for many, the term has been reduced to make reference to a brief period of time spent in a church service together with one another.
- True worship, as taught by the Bible, has more to do with cultivating purity, honesty and nakedness before God as we interact with Him alone.
- Our primary purpose and exclusive privilege as His children is to plunge into His presence with all of our essence as we celebrate our God and receive His fullest blessings.
- No matter who is there or is not there, corporate or individual, music or no music, we invite Him to dwell inside of us and overwhelm us with His presence as we to seek to dwell in Him, basking in His glory. True worship lifts us above all that would bind us. Let us worship all day today!
- "Yet a time is coming and has now come when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24

- We many times fail to realize that our lives are spiritually influenced, either for the good or to our detriment, depending upon what we allow. God is sovereign but has allowed us to make our own choices. We choose where to go, what to do and we also choose who to fellowship with.
- The choices we make today influence our tomorrows. The company you keep has such an influence on your spiritual life, that it should be a matter of prayerful consideration. Fellowship with godly people will help speed you on to victory, while fellowship with those who are ungodly will drag you down to defeat. The choice is ours.
- We are called to the ministry of reconciliation - to win the lost to Christ. But we are to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. Let us pray for Godly wisdom as we choose our activities, as well as our companions.
- I didn't mean that you should have nothing at all to do with outsiders of that sort. Or with crooks, whether blue- or white-collar. Or with spiritual phonies, for that matter. You'd have to leave the world entirely to do that! But I am saying that you shouldn't act as if everything is just fine when one of your Christian companions is promiscuous or crooked, is flip with God or rude to friends, gets drunk or becomes greedy and predatory. You can't just go along with this, treating it as acceptable behavior. I Corinthians 5:10-11 The Message
- Remember to choose your friends wisely.

- As we celebrate our citizenship in a free country and this nation's freedom, let us be mindful to give God all of the glory. Let us also be especially mindful to celebrate our freedom in Christ Jesus.
- We are not only free but joint heirs of Christ , the Anointed! We must never allow the enemy of our souls to cause us to lose sight of our inheritance.
- We must be sure to never exchange the truth of our place in Christ Jesus or our place in God's kingdom, for the lie of our circumstance. No matter what the situation; no matter what we feel; no matter what we see, we walk but faith and not by sight. We indeed are free!
- If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

- When we experience trials and tribulations while being Christians (Christ-like), and suffering is poured into our lives, God transforms those trials and tribulations by His supernatural grace and power.
- He transforms even the weapons themselves into tools the He uses in our lives to shape and mold us into His image. While we are going through the struggle, He comforts us.
- God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to give us the grace we need to make it through. He realizes that it may be grievous, so He being the loving Father He is gives us added grace for the added affliction. He comforts us that we too would become comforters.
- Encourage someone on today that God's grace may abound.
- (He) comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ. II Corinthians 1:4-5

- We serve a mighty God who watches over His word to perform it. What He has said will surely come to pass. No matter what appears; no matter what it may feel like; even in the midst of the storm - He is God. He watches over His own, as we perform in that arena He has called us to .
- He watches over us for His name's sake. We are His children and the sheep of His pasture. He has commanded that nothing touch us that will destroy. Though we be tested and tried, the commandment has gone forth, that we be done no harm.
- As we continue in His statutes and walk in His way, doing what He has called us to do, rest in knowing that the safest place on Earth is in the will of God! Remember, no weapon,......

- Our reason for being and the whole duty of man is to serve God. Our primary purpose as Christians is to glorify and honor the Lord. The Holy Spirit fills us with the elements of worship and fills our heart and mouth with worship of our God.
- True worship is not confined to a brief moment in church service nor can it be contained in any one experience. Worship in spirit and in truth involves the whole of our lives. Let us purpose to cultivate our worship of God with purity and honesty, even in our secret closets without and within, as we pursuit our love relationship and intimacy with our Lord.
- Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration." John 4:23b-24 The Message

- Our lives can be so filled with activities, most of which are wholesome and good. Yet, we must consider that our lives are not our own. We have been bought with a price. Therefore, while all things are lawful, not all are expedient.
- Since life can be so busy, we must manage well our time. We must prioritize the elements of life, lest we be tempted to leave out that which is so important, namely our personal time with Him.
- If you are facing this temptation today, don't give in. Cling to Jesus and obey His commands. Never exchange fellowship with Him for anything. It is always a poor trade off.
- He who sows to his flesh will...reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will...reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:8

- It is God has chosen us to be involved in His work in the world. It is entirely His good pleasure to do so. This means we are the ones who lose out if we don't get with the program. We are the ones who are privileged to be called by God and privilege comes with responsibility.
- GodÂ’s work will go on even in spite of us, but He has decided to factor us into the equation of His will. That makes it a divine privilege and an opportunity. The call upon our lives is even an adventure; just to serve Him. It is a divine opportunity to find purpose and meaning in our lives while cooperating with the purposes of God in this world.
- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen Matthew 28:18-19

- God's plan for our lives is not failure. Though it may seem sometimes we falter, He strengthens us so that we get back up again. Misery is not in His plan for our lives. Even though trials and tests come, He empowers us to succeed in spite of them.
- Poverty is not in His plan either, so He supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory. Neither sickness nor disease are in the plan. By His stripes we, the body of Christ are healed. We are restored to health and wholeness and in Him, we continue in well being.
- His plan is for us is to have a wonderful life full of health, happiness and fulfillment. We must trust that He is who He says He is and that He will do what He says He will. His love for us saves us from every device of the enemy. He continues to restore us in the broken places of our lives to fulfill His plan for our futures.
- The Lord is my Shepherd....He refreshes and restores my soul (mind, emotions, memories)...He leads me in the path of righteousness...not for my earning it but for His name's sake. Psalm 23:1, 3 (AMP)

- God created us with body, soul and spirit. Our soul is the seat of all of our emotions. As long as we live, we will experience a variety of feelings and emotions.
- We are not condemned or found guilty for the many inordinate emotions we experience, but we must learn to manage them, lest they become our worst enemy. If we are not careful, Satan will use our emotions against us to keep us from walking in the Spirit.
- Our mind is the battlefield where there is a war raging between the Holy Spirit and our soul (memories, feeling & emotions). It is so important to take our directives from the unchanging Word of God rather than our unstable and forever changing feelings and emotions.
- For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17

- "You can't worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you'll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can't worship God and money both.
- "If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body.
- Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds. "Has anyone by fussing in front of the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch?
- All this time and money wasted on fashion--do you think it makes that much difference? Instead of looking at the fashions, walk out into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They never primp or shop, but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.
- "If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers--most of which are never even seen--don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. Matt 6:24-31 The Message

- What a wonderful day to be alive in Christ our Savior. As we go about our day today, let us be mindful of the awesome love God has bestowed upon us.
- From time to time, we get so excited about the miracles, the blessings and the mighty works God does in and through and even all around us. Yet, we are reminded that the greatest of these is that He saved us. He loves us!
- It matters not what our profession of faith is but rather our commitment to that faith. It is our lifestyles others will read and not just hear what our mouths have to say.
- The Scriptures says that the Lord loves us so, that He gives us power to becomes His sons and daughters; power to be in character and obedience, just like Him. Our good pleasure is to please Him by doing His will, not just by professing His will.
- Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. I John 3:1-2

- Paul's confession is become the standard for us as believers:
- Yes, all of the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is now insignificant--dog mess (dung). I've dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn't want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules, when I could get the (real deal) kind that comes from trusting Christ--God's righteousness.
- I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience His resurrection power, be a partner in His suffering, and go all the way with Him to death itself. (Death to my own way of thinking and doing things)
- If there was any way to get in on the resurrection from the dead, I wanted to do it. (Born again) I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made' but I am well on my way. I am reaching out for Christ, who has so awesomely reached out for me.
- Don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is calling us onward and upward--to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back! Philippians 3:8-14

- Our lives as believers are to continue to chronicle the story of our Lord and Savior. Those of us whose lives He has touched, are to live such that our lives are the sequel to His own. He gave His life for us; we are to live our lives for Him. We had once been hiding in darkness, but are now come out into the light to proclaim the glorious gospel of Jesus the Christ.
- The powerful presence of the Holy Spirit, with His anointing touch and unifying ability, has inhabited our very being. He has so filled us to overflow, that we spill on those we encounter, making a difference that is undeniable. His presence spills over onto them, making lasting change in their lives. All because He lives, breathes and has being through us. What a mighty God we serve!
- For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. - Our being where we are and who we are is no accident. Long before the foundation of the world. God planned this very moment of time in our lives. Each of us has specific purpose according to the design for our lives by the very hand of God. We are each unique and very different as well as our giftings and anointing. Yet, in some ways, we are very much the same.
- We each have been called to partner with Christ in His mission to save the lost, destroy the works of darkness and build God's kingdom. We live in the midst of a time and a land that is in need of healing. We have each been called to one central purpose. Now is the time to pray!
- If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. - As Christians, we do not have to barely make it through life. It is far time we consider who we are and whose we are. Now is the time for us to leave our dry seasons behind and feast at His table of abundant life and blessings. The Holy Spirit wants to lead us into a season of renewal, refreshing, restoration and revival.
- But we must slow down. We must study to be quiet before the Lord. Our calendars are too full. Our agendas are too crammed. We are too busy with works. We must return to our secret place with the Lord. We must make time for secret prayer and private worship, laying our heads on the bosom of the all-breasted one, El Shaddai.
- Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalms 23:5-6

- We live in a time where everyone seems to be preoccupied with his or her own interests, needs and desires. It seems as though no one has time for the needs, hurts and afflictions of others. We live in the midst of a mindset of people waiting to be given rather that seeking out opportunities to give.
- As the body of Christ, it must not be so with us. The "gimme" attitude of feeling that life owes us something must not abide with us. We must be permeated with gratefulness. We are so undeserving, yet the grace of God keeps us. Our needs are met, our yokes are destroyed but not because we are so good, but because He is a great God and greatly to be praised!
- But understand this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble (hard to deal with and hard to bear). For people will be lovers of self and ( utterly) self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by inordinate (greedy) desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. II Timothy 3:1-2

- This day is the first day of the rest of our lives. What we believe has powerful and far reaching implications concerning our futures. What is even more powerful is the choices we will make today. Those choices will be the stepping stones into various directions; some of them the direction He desires for our lives and some of them wrong turns.
- Many times we make wrong turns following the path of least resistance. We attempt to remain or become comfortable. We must let go of what is many times comfortable in order to see and walk into the truth. The Father wants for us so much more. We must let go and let God!
- I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out--plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. "When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." GOD's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you. - No matter what we encounter from day to day, God is concerned and is near to us, even as near as our prayers. He promised to never leave us or forsake us. We simply need to cry out for the Lord to save us.
- There is no foe that can withstand our God. There is no situation that supersedes Him. There is no circumstance that befalls His children that He is not well able to rescue us from. When we say, "Lord, help us," the Spirit takes the Word and lifts up a standard against the enemy.
- Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:1,19b

- As believers we are blessed to be able to call on God who answers prayer in every situation. Though His answers may not always appear to be what we would like them to be, they are always for our good. The Word of God has the answer for each and every one of our needs - financial, emotional, personal and family needs.
- We must find in the Word what is said concerning the requests we make of God. When we ask anything according to His will, it will be confirmed by His Word, He will hear us and we have the petitions we set before Him.
- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. I John 5:14-15

- As disciples of Christ we are endowed with the power to walk through and over and above our tests, trials and tribulations. We are empowered to not just endure but to be utterly victorious. That power is delegated authority given us by God the Father.
- The power God has given His sons and daughters comes with awesome responsibility. We are above all else responsible to represent Him - He who died to make us joint heirs of the promises of God . We are also responsible to be accountable - answerable and eager to give and account. As we submit to God, we must be submitted to one another and particularly to God's delegated authority.
- Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20

- As we daily live our lives, our testimony should ring clear through what others witness in our life, while they watch. Our preaching and teaching should so line up with the Word that we are living, that it becomes hard to ignore.
- When the enemy causes an uprise against us, the Word alive in us, should be so powerfully real and ready, that the enemy has the script flipped on him. So powerful the Word in our life's living, that those who would oppose us, fall down in worship of the awesome God we serve in our humility - worship in their attitudes; in their gratitude; worship invoked by seeing Jesus in us.
- We are called to set the atmosphere. The Word is spirit and it is life. We allow the Word great opportunity to save when we allow it to permeate our routine day each and every day. We preach the gospel every day using words only when necessary. The message is in the atmosphere, in which we allow God to live through us, breathe through us and have His being through us!
- ...if some unbelieving outsiders walk in on a service (setting) where people are speaking out (living out) God's truth, the plain words will bring them up against the truth and probe their hearts. Before you know it, they're going to be on their faces before God, recognizing that God is among you. I Corinthians 14:24-25

- The safest place on Earth is in the will of God. The surest way to walk, to live and even to endure the encounters of each day is to know His will; to hear His voice and follow His steps, as well as His statutes. Each new day brings to us the unknown, but He knows all and sees all. We must closely hold fast to Him to be safe and secure.
- He provides for us our every need and daily we must seek Him and trust in His provision. Just as the manna from on high, we must be diligent and early to find the provision of the Father for each day. He alone can cause us to know where and how to walk upright. Praise be unto our God and Savior Jesus Christ!
- Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. - He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand. One look at Him and people turned away. We too, would have looked down on Him, thought He was scum.
- The fact is, it was our pains he carried-- our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. They thought He brought it on Himself, that God was punishing Him for His own failures.
- But it was our sins that did that to Him, that ripped and tore and crushed Him--our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through His bruises, by His stripes, we get healed. The Message

- As Christians, we are commanded of the Lord to obey His holy ordinances. For this cause, we baptize ,as our outward show to the world, of our inward change and commitment to the our Lord and Savior. When we do so, we say to the world that we are dead to sin, buried with Him in the likeness of His death and resurrected in the likeness of His resurrection. Let us not fail to go forth now to the empowerment needed to follow through on our profession.
- Let us never forget to immerse ourselves in God's Holy Word just as we were immersed in water. The Holy Spirit by the washing of the water of the Word, will make something wonderful of our lives. This is the way to the abundant life He promised. This is the way to the life lived in the likeness of His resurrection. Praise be unto God!

- The Lord has given to each of us free will and the ability to make our own choices. When we lived outside of the body of Christ, we made our decisions ignorantly, not knowing His will for our lives.
- Now, as we come into relationship with Him, we must realize the necessity for us to die to our feelings, to what we think, to our old way of living and our old way of doing things. We must submit to His will, to His Word and to His way.
- We serve a sovereign God who we must not try to manipulate. Our prayers are our petitions before Him, not our directives to Him, for He alone is God!

- Death is something we seem never to grow accustomed to. The sorrow one feels in the loss of a loved one can sometimes be so hard to bear. Many times even divorce or separation feels to our hearts the same as death does. Yet all of theses things make up what we have come to know as life.
- Tears are our expression of what our souls experience at that moment , be it joy or pain. The truth of the matter is that sometimes we must get hurt in order to grow. There are times when we must fall in order to know.
- The truth is that we need to get to know ourselves, before we can truly know another. Many times our vision clears only after our eyes are washed away with tears.~
- And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:4

- Life is filled with transition and so many things we find hard to understand. The natural man tends to fear that which he can not comprehend. We are new creatures created in Christ Jesus; filled with His Spirit and washed in His blood.
- We are no longer carnal (moved by natural inclinations). We are conquerors whose weapons are not carnal but mighty through God and we use them to pull down strongholds, cast down idols and bring vain thoughts into obedience to Christ. We overcome because He over came. We are not afraid of what today or the future holds because we know who holds (sustains) us. What a mighty God we serve!

- We honor God by knowing what the Bible teaches us concerning our relationships with not only the Father but with each other, and obeying what it teaches. We honor Him by obeying Him, as it concerns each of our lives and as we interact with each other - on our jobs, in our marriages - in all of our relationships.
- Our top priority should be enabling others to understand the gospel and see the kingdom of God. Though God has given us many blessings and rights, we should be willing to sacrifice them, if it would help someone to get to know Christ. Nothing is more important than our witness for Christ and spreading the gospel. Giving up our rights is a worthwhile sacrifice if it will bring one into the kingdom and give glory to the Father.

- As children of the Most High God, we are called to be stewards rather than just servants, Stewards are responsible to manage that which belongs to their Master. With this assignment , we have the opportunity to either fail or succeed in pleasing Him. Our express assignment - we have been commissioned to spend our lives increasing His kingdom.
- The assets He has left us to manage are our gifts, talents, strengths and even our personalities. It is our charge to manage these assets in such a way, that we increase the kingdom of God. Our good stewardship will require faith - faith that our Master is who He says He is and will reward those who diligently seek Him and seek to please Him.
- Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. I Corinthians 4:1-2

- The Lord is indeed our Shepherd. He is a good shepherd that is concerned with everything that concerns us. He is always watching over us to see that things work out for our best interests. Nothing distracts Him from taking care of His sheep because each one is important to Him.
- He stops at nothing to finds when we are lost, heal us when we are sick or comfort us when we are in sorrow, grief or despair. The only reason a good shepherd would ever leave the flock, even for a moment, would be to find one that was lost. Our Shepherd is omnipresent and never leaves or or forsakes us. Even when it appears He is not, He is still only a prayer away.
- "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd puts the sheep before himself, sacrifices himself if necessary. I am the Good Shepherd. I know my own sheep and my own sheep know me." John 10:11,14

- We serve a covenant God and we are made in His image. The things we say, as well as the things we do, create covenants and contracts and many times we are unaware.
- That is why we must guard what enters into our spirits and we must also be careful what we allow out of our mouths. We must be careful of our thoughts, our attitudes and particularly our displayed behavior.
- There is no place for compromise in the lives of believers. Compromise is just another word for a vaguely written contract with the enemy. Those who enter into these agreements with the devil, most times fail to read the fine print. The down payment for sin (compromise) may seem small, but regular installments are required and they stretch throughout all eternity.

- In this life, we toil and spin many times to no avail. Seems we have far more month than money; far many more scheduled tasks than time; and the list goes on. We must be so careful not to allow the level of anxiety in our lives build to the point where we fail to realize that the truth is, "we can not make it on our own."
- We many times are in such a hurry we feel there is little or not time to seek God. We must realize that because of all that we have before us - because of the full plates we are trying to juggle, we must seek God. He alone can impart unto us that supernatural anointing necessary to make it all happen. But first things first! Seek God!
- Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. - We live in a day and time when it seems everyone is mandated by trends and styles. It seems that somewhere between the fashion world, the entertainment world and the sports world, there is some large voice that speaks to people, the next move to make. This voice seems to mandate what to wear, what to say, how to walk, what to eat and the list goes on.
- Though we live in the world, we are not of the world. Let us be mindful that as the sheep of the Good Shepherd, we are to be moved, not by what we see or hear, lest it be His voice alone. We are safe with Him and in Him.
- Let us not be caught up as part of the herd that moves according to the dictates of others. We must allow God to be the voice that determines our choices. He alone is God and we are His and the Word alone is our mandate.
- But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all Truth (the whole, full Truth).... John 16:13 (Amplified)

- Not the man who hastens to hear a righteous word, but the man who lives a righteous life, shall be blessed of the Lord.
- God's promises to His children are all "yea and amen." Hope thou in God. Apply His Word to every situation, then stand still and see Him prove Himself!
- It is better to live right and be poor than to be sinful and rich. The wicked will lose all of their power, but the LORD gives strength to everyone who is good.
- Those who obey the LORD are daily in his care, and what he has given them will be theirs forever. They won't be in trouble when times are bad, and they will have plenty when food is scarce.
- Wicked people are enemies of the LORD and will vanish like smoke from a field on fire. An evil person borrows and never pays back; a good person is generous and never stops giving.
- Everyone the LORD blesses will receive the land; everyone the LORD curses will be destroyed.
- If you do what the LORD wants, He will make certain each step you take is sure. The LORD will hold your hand, and if you stumble, you still won't fall.

- There are times in our lives when trials and cares can be exhausting. In our daily routine many times we stumble across obstacles that at some point become problems and they way seems to become increasingly dark. We must keep on toiling though and not lose hope because we have a powerful consolation.
- As long as you live by the Word of God, you will never have to live in the dark again. You will never have to remain in confusion about which path to take. You will never have to grope blindly along, struggling to find your own way. We may be perplexed from time to time but we serve the great "Waymaker" Jesus. He is the Light of the world. His Word gives light to those who grow weary in life.

- The covenant God we serve has called us to partner with Him in world changing ministry. Many times this will bring us into hard places and even persecution ,as we seek opportunity to be used of God to make a difference.
- We must know that when we experience persecution for being a Christian (Christ-like), and suffering is poured into our lives, God will transform it by His supernatural grace and power into a platform for His glory. It happens, if we will resist the devil and submit to Him.
- God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters, partnering with His Holy Spirit in the ministry of reconciliation. It's all about winning the lost to Him, as we lay down our lives for a friend.
- As the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. II Corinthians 1:5.

- Before coming to know Jesus, we lived according to the trends, fashion and influence of the world around us. For many of us, we have lived long enough to see those tendencies not only as unwholesome, but dangerous. The trends of this present age are clearly leading to death. Yet, we are caught in the winds of the times until we purpose to change directions.
- The word repent is used to describe the beginning of a genuine spiritual change of direction. True repentance occurs deep in our hearts and is not just an outward show. It is a change in our mind set, our attitudes and therefore, a change in our behavior which results in a visible difference in our actions. When we turn to Christ and yield ourselves to Him, He produces real change and not just a cover up.

- Day to day, we find ourselves juggling the complexities of life. How awesome God is to speak to us through it all, leading guiding and directing us on our way. We could never make this journey by ourselves. So many decisions to make, so many twists and turns in the way. Before coming to know the Savior, we admittedly were like ships without sails.
- Without God's mercy and comfort, we would remain lost at sea, unsure of our direction and with little hope of finding port. But we are not without the Great God of heaven and Earth. He is near us and saves us from all that would harm us. What a privilege. What a mighty God we serve!

- God knew what He was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love Him along the same lines as the life of His Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity He restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in Him.
- After God made that decision of what His children should be like, He followed it up by calling people by name. After He called them by name, He set them on a solid basis with Himself. And then, after getting them established, He stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what He had begun.
- So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing Himself to the worst by sending His own Son, is there anything else He wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? - There is so much power in the words we speak. We are so much like God our Father, that what we say comes to pass. The meditations of our heart are what spills from our lips.
- Therefore, it is necessary to think on good things. The Scripture says we should think on those things that are lovely and of good report. We need not rehearse all of the ills in our lives. The longer we ponder the negative, the more negativity spills from our lips
- We instead should confess the power we know is available to us through Christ our Savior, His grace and His mercy.Great things happen when we continually confess the mercies of God. Our faith rises up on the inside of us and the reality that God loves us begins to sing through our spirit. The song it sings is much sweeter and more powerful than the voice of demise.
- Our God is the Awesome God!
- By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 13:15.

Another day and the Lord has kept us, anointed and appointed us for all that we will encounter today. Yesterday is gone but we have benefited from the trials and the tests; they are part of the readiness for the day at hand. We have no fear, for He is near and He is even now restoring our soul.
The shed blood of Christ not only saves us from the penalty of sin but even the awful consequences and we are grateful that things are as well as they are. We are not defeated or cast down in our soul, because He is continually restoring us; pouring into us; breathing on us; comforting us even by the presence of His awesome Spirit. We are more than conquerors and we have on the whole amour of God!

- God has called His children to holiness and godliness. He pours into us all that it takes to mature us in this way. As we meditate on His Word, we are growing strong as plantings of the Lord. Life comes with many unexpected changes, wind and rain alike. Yet, we stand firm because we have been planted, rooted and grounded in the principles of Christ our Savior.
- The trees with deep roots weather the hurricane. We establish our roots deep in God's Word to weather the storms of life. We shall not be moved by what we see. By faith and on His promise, we stand!
- God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and won't follow sinners or join in sneering at God. Instead, the Law of the LORD makes them happy, and they think about it day and night. - There is a storm out on the ocean and it is said to be moving this way. We are safe in the loving arms of the Savior as we continue to seek His face before stepping into one direction or another. Since we are sheep, we are not completely capable of knowing which way to go and yet remain where peaceful waters flow.
- Some look for peace in the alcohol bottle. Some try to find it in crack-cocaine, in their best friend, in their spouse, in achievements made, etc. We must know today that God alone can give us the everlasting peace which flows down like a river, down into our souls. We must let Him lead!

- Love costs but not nearly as much as sin. The Father loved us so much He gave His Son to be the ransom for our souls. Think of what Christ paid when He embraced us. Think of the pain the Son of Man endured in loving us - a lost and wayward humanity. Love is never without pain or sacrifice.
- True love is what God is, and what we were made to know with Him. Let us not trade in the opportunity for intimacy with the Master and the opportunity to walk in His way, to embrace the cheap thrills of fulfilling our flesh, the love of the world and it's way of doing things.
- What Christ accomplished for us on the cross is far more valuable than the pleasures of sin. Let us walk in the freedom He gained for us on that cross even when it costs us the high cost and vulnerability of love.

- Many of us have had unpleasant experiences with some who have been in a position of authority throughout our lives. The distaste left in our mouths many times will cause us to missout on God's best for us as we wrestle with the will of God as it concerns submission.
- We live in a society pitted on "do your own thing" and must be careful not to have our spirits polluted by this attitude. The God of "decency and order" we serve , mandates submission to authority. It is both for our good and for His glory.
- We must know that only as we submit to authority in the earth realm are we really in submission to the God of the heavens. We can not separate our submission to God from our submission to His ordained authority at work, at church or at home.
- Let every soul be submitting to higher [or, governing] authorities, for [there] is no authority except from God, but the existing authorities have been appointed by God. Accordingly, the one setting himself in opposition to the [governing] authority has resisted God's ordinance, and the ones having resisted will receive judgment to themselves. Romans 13:1-2

- No doubt about it! God is good-- good to good people, good to the good-hearted. But I nearly missed it, missed seeing his goodness. I was looking the other way, looking up to the people At the top, envying the wicked who have it made, Who have nothing to worry about, not a care in the whole wide world.
- Pretentious with arrogance, they wear the latest fashions in violence, pampered and overfed, decked out in silk bows of silliness. They jeer, using words to kill; they bully their way with words. They're full of hot air, loudmouths disturbing the peace. People actually listen to them--can you believe it? Like thirsty puppies, they lap up their words.
- What's going on here? Is God out to lunch? Nobody's tending the store. The wicked get by with everything; they have it made, piling up riches I've been stupid to play by the rules; what has it gotten me? A long run of bad luck, that's what-- a slap in the face every time I walk out the door.
- If I'd have given in and talked like this, I would have betrayed your dear children. Still, when I tried to figure it out, all I got was a splitting headache . . .
- Until I entered the sanctuary of God. Then I saw the whole picture: The slippery road you've put them on, with a final crash in a ditch of delusions. In the blink of an eye, disaster! A blind curve in the dark, and--nightmare! We wake up and rub our eyes. . . .

- As Christians we love the Lord and walk daily trying to obey Him but sometimes it may seem something is missing. We find ourselves filled with desire to increase our intimacy with the Father, yet it seems many times we fall short.
- The Holy Spirit is the person we must pursuit. We must take time to romance the Holy Spirit and acknowledge His presence. He is with us every day ,in every given situation, not just in our worship experience.
- Let us be mindful of His presence moment by moment and begin to romance Him with all our heart even through our routine day. He is waiting to walk with us and talk with us and help us in every way. Simply whisper His name and feel His presence, as He calms and restores each situation and calls to order every circumstance.

- It is easy for us to go forward when we are met with little or no resistance. We tend to feel on top of the world when the challenges are few. We tend to be afraid of the unknown though and things that we can not readily understand.
- We must be mindful that courage is not the absence of fear, but our moving ahead in spite of it. Hope is not for that which is clearly seen, but for that which we must take hold of in our spirit, in spite of what is seen.
- We live victoriously for the Lord and soar on eagles wings when we wait on Him. Eagles spread their wings to ride upon the storms. It takes courage to keep walking and not faint when trying times come. The Lord is still there when we most fear He has forgotten us.
- Let us spread our wings and allow the storms to be the wind beneath our wings!

- We are inspired by the testimonies of others when we hear of the goodness of the Lord in their lives. As we listen, we take heart and find faith to go on. Many are inspired by our testimonies as well. We must come to a place though where we know that a testimony is more than what is shared when we stand up in a church service or outside of the church while doing outreach or evangelism.
- Our testimony is the life we live and the attitudes we display, while the Holy Spirit is leading us through the tests of life, that come after we share a profound profession of faith. A powerful Word shared will be followed by an awesome trial of your faith many times. Our greatest testimony is our response to that trial or test.

- As the body of Christ we are to seek to be empowered with spiritual discernment. Discernment is spiritual insight. This is holy insight, and must not be daunted by lack of faith, lack of virtue, lack of self-control or a lack of love, lest it not be holy.
- Judgement and discernment are quite different, though many try to make them synonymous one with the other. The tendency to judge others is an instinctive response to our own faults and short comings. It is also indicative of a lack of true love.
- Judging others is deeply rooted in pride; believing that we are somehow better and would never do thus and so,... We must understand that in order to bless God and glorify Him in our lives, we must stay clear of judgement and allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through us in discernment, which is the ability to distinguish between evil and good in order to make wise decisions and in order to offer loving solutions.
- Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:1-2

- The heart cry of Jesus is still the same today. What He said to His disciples, He says to us. Listen!
- "The farm of a certain rich man produced a terrific crop. He talked to himself: 'What can I do? My barn isn't big enough for this harvest.' Then he said, 'Here's what I'll do: I'll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I'll gather in all my grain and goods, and I'll say to myself, Self, you've done well! You've got it made and can now retire. Take it easy and have the time of your life!' "
- Just then God showed up and said, 'Fool! Tonight you die. And your barn full of goods--who gets it?' "That's what happens when you fill your barn with Self and not with God." He continued this subject with his disciples. "Don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or if the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your inner life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body.
- Look at the ravens, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, carefree in the care of God. And you count far more. "Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can't even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don't fuss with their appearance--but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?
- "What I'm trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don't be afraid of missing out. You're my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself. Luke 12:16-32 The Message
